Starring In A New Drama, Actor No Young Kook Dies
JAKARTA - Sad news came from the South Korean entertainment industry. Actor No Young Kook passed away today, Monday, September 18. This news was shared by representatives of his latest drama production house.
"Actor No Young Kook died this morning of a heart attack," saidbanis Media, who represented the drama Live Your Own Life.
The funeral will be held behind closed doors and only attended by family, friends, and colleagues in private.
No Young Kook debuted in 1974 as an actor and starred in a number of drama titles, including The Great King, Sejong, and God of War, I Order You, Taejong of Joseon, Eyes of Dawn and others.
He also played the drama Sweet Stranger and Me, Best Lover, and his latest drama Live Your Own Life. No Young Kook also starred in several big screen films including Do The Right Thing and Bravo My Life.

The latest drama is the weekly drama, Live Your Own Life, which aired last September 16. So far, the drama has only aired two episodes.
Live Your Own Life tells the story of personal trainer Hyo Shim (played by UEE) but as the only daughter in the family, Hyo Shim begins to feel burdened. He is always asked to help other family members.
Through this drama, No Young Kook plays the husband of Jang Sook Hyang (played by Lee Hwi Yang), Kang Jin Beom who is the chairman of the Taesan Group.
On the other hand, the production team is considering changing roles after this sad news. No Young Kook died at the age of 75.
