Google Voice Update Will Mark Messages Allegedly Spam
JAKARTA - Google is starting to roll out a new feature to Google Voice, which will alert users if there are messages suspected of being spam.
"S spam protection is enhanced through automated labeling of messages suspected of being spam on Google Voice," Google wrote in an update on its official Workspace blog recently.
So, if you're using Google Voice, you'll know Google's warning reads "suspected spam" against the number suspected of being a spam caller.
Initially, this feature only worked for voice calls, but Google has now expanded this feature to SMS messages on Android and iOS devices.

This feature is now available to Voice Starter, Standard, and Premier subscribers, as well as users with private accounts in the United States (US), and will be expanded gradually.

Meanwhile, another update is in Google Contact and various Google Workspace products, you will start to see birthday decorations when directing the cursor to another user's contact card.
"The birthday depreciation will be displayed on your birthday if you have added your date of birth to your Google Account profile and you have set the information so that it can be seen by others," Google explained.
This birthday decoration display is available to all Google Workspace and users with a personal Google Account.
