Today, Bareskrim Again Checks Rocky Gerung Regarding Jokowi's Hate Speech
JAKARTA - Investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police have resumed their investigation by asking for clarification from political observer Rocky Gerung in Jakarta, Wednesday, September 13.
Rocky Gerung's legal advisory team, Haris Azhar, said his client was ready to attend to fulfill the summons of the Criminal Investigation Police investigator
"God willing (present)," said Haris when confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday, September 13.
According to Haris, the clarification examination of Rocky Gerung, Wednesday, had entered the material from his statement which was considered insulting to the head of state.
"Yes, (about that)," added Haris.
Earlier, last Wednesday, Rocky Gerung had complied with the investigator's summons for clarification regarding the investigation into the alleged hate speech case.
Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Brigadier General Pol. Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro said his party had prepared 97 questions to Rocky Gerung, 47 of which had been asked during the first examination.
The question is related to several news that the complainant considers to be false, such as about palm oil and China.

"That is the object that it is fake news, of course this is our material for the process of further investigation," said Djuhandhani.
In this case, Bareskrim received 26 reports reported at the North Sumatra Police, Yogyakarta Police, East Kalimantan Police, West Kalimantan Police, and Polda Metro Jaya.
"All reports have been accommodated at Bareskrim," he said.
Investigators have also examined 73 witnesses and 13 expert witnesses.
