Deputy Minister Of SOEs Meets Heru Budi, Asks DKI Residents To Use Pertamax Green To Replace Pertalite
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of SOEs Kartika Wirjoatmodjo met with the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi at the City Hall of DKI Jakarta. During the meeting, Tiko, Kartika's nickname, asked Heru Budi to strive for the implementation of green energy in the capital city.
One of them, Tiko hopes that Heru can encourage Jakarta residents to support the transition of fuel from using pertalite to pertamax green.
"The users of motorized vehicles from the upper class should shift to using Pertamax Green, because it reduces emissions significantly, which is 30 percent," said Tiko at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, September 12.
Tiko and Heru also discussed the issue of converting diesel to be converted into electricity to make it more environmentally friendly. This is done by looking at the condition that there are still many diesel use in various industries. "Regarding green energy, Jakarta is a challenge for pollution. We are still looking for solutions, how to use green energy more broadly and to encourage the use of diesel to be converted using electricity," he said.

Currently, the government is mapping the area so that in the future the people of Jakarta can use gas pipes as alternative energy.
Agreeing, Heru Budi views that these efforts really need to be made to provide alternative energy that can be used by the community.
"We will call associations, all kinds of things. Discussions related to the development of gas networks so that people have alternative energy," said Heru. For information, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati said that she would remove pertalite and replace it with firstx green 92 starting next year.
"Our subsidized BBM increases from RON 90 to RON 92, because the rules of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) octane number that can be sold in Indonesia are at least 91," Nicke said in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission VII DPR RI, last Wednesday, August 30.
Pertamax Green 92 is a mixture of Pertalite type fuel with an octane value of 90 with 7 percent ethanol and Pertamax Green 95 which is a mixture of Pertamax with 8 percent ethanol.
Although it is claimed to be more economical, the discourse on removing pertalite with Pertamax green 92 has drawn controversy. Moreover, Pertalite is a type of fuel that is in great demand mainly by the lower middle class.
