JAKARTA - MV Agusta has again strengthened its historical heritage, known as a high-performance motorcycle manufacturer that has always been produced in limited quantities. This time, they celebrated 35 historic victories at the Assen Circuit, the Netherlands, with the launch of the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Assen.
It is known, MV Agusta has an impressive winning history at the Assen Circuit with a total of 35 wins. This story began in 1976 when the legendary Italian racer, Giacomo Agostini, won a 350 cc class victory.
This latest limited edition motorcycle is the result of a precision design by experts and is built with special spare parts, creating a stunning motorcycle. Reporting from Rideapart, Monday, September 11, every detail is considered, ranging from special emblems, placards, carbon fiber panels, aluminum side plates, to blue Alcantara coatings and special completions throughout the motor.
Based on the stunning Brutale 1000 RR model, the Assen edition received a touch of exotic design. MV Agusta chose a unique color scheme combined with Blu Nordic, Argento Ago, and a touch of attractive Gold.
The front suspension section is equipped with a manual pre-load feature, while the back has an electronically regulateable spring preload adjustment. The Brutale 1000 RR Assen has a front suspension of Ohlinsmen EC 43mm with 120mm travel, as well as a back shock from Ohlins EC TTX with 120mm travel. The braking system is upgraded with a 320mm multiple floating disk on the front and a 220mm steel disk on the back.
To reduce weight, this special edition Brutale uses a carbon fiber rotobox rim decorated with attractive blue weaving. As a result, this bike only weighs 183 kg. The front rim measures 3.5 x 17 inches, while the back rim measures 6 x 17 inches. Both are equipped with tires measuring 120/70 R17 and 200/55 R17.
