Polling Institute Survey, Erick Becomes The Most Elected Vice Presidential Candidate For The Community
JAKARTA - Erick Thohir is the top choice as the right figure to become a vice presidential candidate in a survey conducted by the Polling Institute. Polling Institute Muslim researcher said the majority of respondents chose the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in two simulations, both 19 names and five names of vice presidents.
"The results of the simulation of the choice of 19 names and five names of 2024 vice presidential candidates, Erick Thohir became the strongest vice presidential candidate with 15.1 percent and 24.5 percent," said Kennedy when presenting the results of a survey entitled "The Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate Competition Map and Latest Issues" in Jakarta, Sunday 10 September.
Kennedy said Erick's name would also bring victory to his presidential candidate. In three simulations, the presidential candidate paired with Erick always occupies the top position.
In the first simulation, the Prabowo-Erick pair won 34.7 percent or won from the Anies-AHY pair by 18.5 percent and Ganjar-Ridwan Kamil with 34.2 percent. The second simulation, Ganjar-Erick got 37.2 percent or ahead of Anies-Yenny Wahid by 16.0 percent and Prabowo-Muhaimin by 35.1 percent.
Then, Prabowo-Erick again top with 38.5 percent or ahead of Anies-AHY with 18.8 percent and Ganjar-Sandiaga with 32.5 percent.
"In the simulation of two couples, Erick and his partner always excel far above other partners," said Kennedy.
Kennedy gave an example of Prabowo-Erick winning 46.7 percent, while Ganjar-Ridwan Kamil at 39.1 percent. In the next simulation, Erick, who was paired with Prabowo, won 47.1 percent and won over Ganjar-Sandiaga pair with 38.0 percent. Erick won 28.8 percent of the respondents' votes or was quite far from four other figures such as Gibran Rakabuming with 17.3 percent, Muhaimin Iskandar with 8.8 percent, Khofifah Indar Parawansa with 8.5 percent, and Airlangga Hartarto with 4.2 percent.
"Among the five names and possibly other names, Erick Thohir was most elected as a representative to accompany Prabowo. The reason is the most because his performance is considered good," said Kennedy.
