Heartbroken by Being Charged a Debt with 100 Percent Interest, a Man in Tangerang Brutally Killed His Friend's Mother
TANGERANG - The motive for the murder committed by Nirwansyah (23) against Anik Patmawati (51) was revealed. He killed the mother of his close friend because he was hurt by being verbally abused.
It is known that the murder incident occurred on Jalan Danau Poso 1, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency, Thursday, September 7, at approximately 22.30 WIB.
"The suspect felt hurt because the victim was collecting debts with large interest rates and was verbally abused by the victim," said Kelapa Dua Police Chief, Commissioner Victor Berlyantho when confirmed, Sunday, September 9.
Victor also said that the perpetrator had a debt of IDR 500 thousand and interest on installments of 100 percent or IDR 500 thousand, so the perpetrator became emotional and killed the victim.
"500 thousand with interest of 500 thousand," he said.
According to local residents, the victim often lent his money to local residents at high interest or was called a loan shark.
"Yes, it's a loan shark. It's just a side thing," said Ola (26) when met by journalists, Sunday, September 10.
Previously it was reported that the case of the death of a woman who was allegedly killed by her child's friend shocked the residents of Jalan Danau Poso 1, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency. This also raises issues about the motive for the murder.

Ola said the motive for the murder was initially thought to be hurt. The perpetrator is said to have no money to hold his wedding party.
Moreover, the perpetrator also intended to borrow money. However, the victim was not given because Nirwansyah still had debts with Anik Patmawati.
"The motive was because he was hurt by the information. So Nirwan wanted to borrow money for the wedding, but didn't give it, because he also already had a debt with the mother (victim)," said Ola when met at the location, Sunday, September 10.
"Mother advised me, if you don't have money to get married, you don't need a party, just give thanks, you don't need to act like a rich person," he continued.
