JAYAPURA - Papua Police Chief Inspector General Pol Mathius Fakhiri admitted that efforts to release New Zealand national pilots were still being carried out but were not in a hurry. Susi Air Pilot Philip Mark Mehrtens, was held hostage by the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya shortly after landing his plane in Paro, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains. KKB also burned Susi Air's plane.
