Due To The Burning Of Waste, Empty Land On The Edge Of The Cipayung Toll Road Caught Fire
JAKARTA - Land piled up in the rest area of KM12 towards Cibubur, Munjul Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, caught fire on Monday, September 4, noon. The fire continued to spread to the dried wild plants in the area.
The Head of Operations for the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Sudin Gulkarmat) confirmed that there was a fire on the median side of the toll road.
"The object that caught fire was 500 meters long. The area that burned belongs to Jasa Marga," said Gatot when contacted by VOI, Monday, September 4.
The flames grew and spread in the area of the fire. The fire was extinguished at around 13.09 WIB.

"We have deployed 3 fire engines to the location to extinguish the fire. As many as 12 of our personnel are deployed," he said.
After the fire was successfully extinguished, officers began to collect data and collect witness statements. From the results of the inspection, the cause of the fire was the burning of garbage that dragged into the wild plant.
"The cause is because people burn garbage and then spread to the grass on the edge of the toll road. Now the fire has been extinguished," he said.
