Tomorrow, Royal Enfield Prepares To Release New 2024 Bullet Motorcycles Online
JAKARTA - September 1 tomorrow, Royal Enfield will reveal the lineup of Bullet motorbikes that have been overhauled for 2024. The good news is that they are introducing five new models that have been required online.
These five new models are a combination of new and old ones, including Bullet 350 and Bullet 500, as well as Bullet Electra, and Bullet Sixty-5.
At the time of writing, there was still no technical information about the motorbikes that were released. All will most likely become single air-cooled motors, with all four names previously in Enfield's lineup in the past. Most likely, the Bullet 350 model will use the two-carve long running machine currently in models like Classic 350.
Despite speculation throughout the year, unfortunately the fifth-model required, Bullet E, is not the company's first electric motorcycle. This happened even though Enfield's parent company, Zayer Motors Ltd, had invested 50 million in the off-road Spanish electricity company Stark Future SL, in early 2023.
At the time, it was reported that Royal Enfield had'some ideas in the advanced testing stages' in terms of electrification. This is in accordance with a report in India, with some media claiming to have a battery-powered concept called Electrik01, complete with a fork girder and a classic design.
"While they are scaled up and planning to enter the market soon, we will support Stark in the industrialization process. We at Royal Enfield will rely on this capability to develop our EV platform and also plan to share several future EV platforms," said Royal Enfield CEO B Govindrajan, quoted from MCN, August 25.
