Motorcyclist Against Accident In Lenteng Agung Potentially Becomes A Suspect
Polda Metro Jaya has upgraded the status of traffic accidents between trucks and seven motorcyclists who went against the direction on Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung to the investigation stage. Motorists have the potential to become suspects.
"Yes (a potential suspect)," said Deputy Director of Traffic for Metro Jaya Police AKBP Doni Hermawan to VOI, Wednesday, August 30.
From the results of the case title, it was found that elements of the criminal act of negligence resulted in traffic accidents. This is regulated in Article 310 paragraph 1 of Law number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ).
In that article, the sanction is in the form of a maximum sentence of 6 months or a maximum fine of Rp. 1 million rupiah.
"The case has been carried out, from the investigation to the investigation stage," said Doni.
However, the process of determining the suspect must go through the stage of the case title at the investigation level.
It has not been detailed about the timing of the title of the suspect's determination. Currently, investigators are said to continue to collect evidence and clues first.

Previously, the Director of Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman also stated that motorcyclists had the opportunity to become suspects. The reason is because driving is not on track.
In fact, it was the motorcyclist's action against the direction that caused the accident.
"That's why you could be a suspect in the victim (motorcyclist)," said Latif.
