Foreign Minister Affirms AIPF Focus On Strengthening Green Infrastructure Cooperation To Creative Economy
PADANG - Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi emphasized that ASEAN Indo Pacific Forum (AIPF) which will be held on September 5 and 6, 2023, will focus on strengthening sector cooperation that is crucial for ASEAN's future.
"For example, green infrastructure, the supply chain of strategic industry, digital transformation, and the creative economy," said Retno Marsudi via video recording reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 21.
Retno said that through this concrete and inclusive cooperation, the habit of cooperation and trust in the Indo Pacific region is expected to be maintained. AIPF itself is part of the ASEAN 2023 Summit series which will be held in Jakarta.
The Foreign Minister said that referring to the mandate of the foreign political constitution, Indonesia must and will always contribute to world peace.
This is in line with the theme of the commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, namely "Continue to Advance for Advanced Indonesia". Indonesia will continue to play its positive role in the world, the Indo Pacific region, including in the Chairmanship of Indonesia in ASEAN.

Finally, said the Foreign Minister, Indonesia's foreign political efforts need to get the support of all levels of society in the country. Therefore, Retno invites all parties to continue to strengthen their commitment to advancing Indonesia.
In line with that, the Director General of Information and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Teuku Faizasyah said that many countries in the world have high hopes for Indonesia through the implementation of the ASEAN 2023 Summit.
"This hope is because Indonesia is a country that is the leadership capacity in ASEAN," he said.
