PBESI Targets Three Golds At The IESF 15th World Championship 2023
JAKARTA - The prestigious event for the world esports sport, IESF 15th World Championship 2023 will soon start in Romania from August 24 to September 4.
Ahead of this tournament, the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI) officially released 18 national team athletes and 11 coaches to Romania on August 20 in Jakarta.
"Yes, I hope that the Manager athletes or management who manage this are really well prepared. Don't let us be careless, take care of our health, maintain our abilities while preparing and during the guard matches," said Bambang Sunarwibowo, Daily Chairperson of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board, Commissioner General of PBESI.
Of the total 7 match numbers at IESF 15th this year, Indonesia will field athletes in five match numbers, namely CS:GO men, MLBB, e-football, Sign 7, and also DOTA.
Not to forget, Bambang also reminded the athletes to always focus and not be disturbed by different situations later. He also emphasized that athletes should be able to adapt and be able to maintain cohesiveness.

"I remind you, other things that are not important are ruled out, your focus is on how to bring Indonesia's big name in this international arena. Remember this there are 140 countries that compete, so your opponent is indeed the best team in the world," he said.
Seeing the achievements of the Indonesian national team esports athletes who managed to become overall champions at the Cambodian SEA Games yesterday, Bambang hopes that at the 2023 IESF, the Indonesian national team can also bring home at least three gold medals.
"We have been the overall champion, don't let this go down. Because what is difficult is how we keep from 7 numbers, we follow 5 match numbers. Well, from these 5 we expect at least 3 gold medals," said Bambang.
"We have realized that before, but how do we maintain and can contribute, that Indonesia is very much taken into account in the world of esports," he concluded.
