In The Night's Eve, The SAR Team Finds Workers Who Get Lost For Nine Days In The Archipelago Of The Kukar Forest
SAMARINDA - After nine days of getting lost, the Rescue Team for the Joint SAR Unit of Samarinda City, East Kalimantan (Kaltim) managed to find a worker who had disappeared in the forest where PT ITCI Hutani Manunggal (IHM) worked, Loa Kulu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency (Kukar).
"One victim got lost on behalf of Slamet Riyadi, a man, 28, whose address is at Jalan Lotus RT 07, Sepaku Village, Sepaku District," said Head of the Balikpapan City Search and Rescue Office (KKP) Melkyanus Kotta in a release received in Samarinda, Saturday.
Slamet Riyadi was found by a joint team in the wilderness in the evening dark on Saturday morning at 00.05 WITA.
The Joint SAR team, he said, managed to find the victim safe at position 0.45'82' S 116°4626 E with a weak and linglung condition, at a distance of 3 kilometers from the location for the first time with colleagues who were both about to go home from work.
"The victim was found by a joint team about 3 km to the west from the visible location before, then the victim was evacuated to a clinic owned by the local company for medical treatment. After the victim was found, the search operation was declared closed," he said.
The elements involved in the search were the Samarinda SAR Alert Unit Rescue Team, Loa Kulu Police, Kukar Regency Disdamkar, PT IHM, PT PJS, Satria Rescue Samarinda, Animal Rescue, residents of Semoi Dua Village, and the families of the victims.

The chronology of the victim's strayness, as revealed by the reporter on Thursday, Slamet Riyadi plans to return from the work location to the office with two of his friends. However, the victim went missing on the way, then the company and the victim's colleagues searched for but nothing, so it was later reported to the SAR Team.
Two of Slamet's friends who also witnessed the victim's strayness were Budi Andy Saputra and Rismanto. Both are also located in Sepaku District, the capital city of the archipelago (IKN).
