Pekanbaru-Regat Rampung Toll Arrangement
PeKANBARU - Riau Provincial Government (Pemprov) continues to accelerate preparations for the construction of the Pekanbaru-Rengat Toll Road (JTTS) for the 175-kilometer (Km) section, such as the stages of determining the location have been completed.
"There were obstacles in planning the location of the Pekanbaru-Rengat toll road because the roads to be built were through the sutet, helipad, Islamic boarding schools and fishery cultivation areas. However, everything has been completed," said Assistant II of the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province M Job Kurniawan in Pekanbaru as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 15.
He said the complete location arrangement includes repairs and shifts in the route, and further measurements by the National Land Agency (BPN) work unit.
The Pekanbaru-Rengat toll road will later be connected to the Pekanbaru-Padang toll road and the Pekanbaru-Padang toll road will be the wing of the Trans Sumatra toll road.
"Next, there will also be a connection to the Pekanbaru-Dumai toll road. This connection is currently still in process," he said.
