Police Investigate Finding A Body Covered In Blood Next To A Batuk Batung At The Batola Stadium, South Kalimantan
BARITO KUALA - Polres Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan (Kalsel) investigated the discovery of a 26-year-old man's body lying covered in blood on the tribune of the December 5 Marabahan Stadium, Barito Kuala Regency (Batola).
The body was found by residents around 06.00 WITA on the back of a lump of rock with bruises on the right temple and back of the head.
"Personnel found a lump of rock next to the corpse, while the results of the investigation contained allegations of murder," said Barito Kuala Police Chief AKBP Diaz Sasongko, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 7.
The police investigated the case by developing the results of an investigation at the crime scene (TKP).
"Personnel have secured evidence of a lump of rock, currently they are still investigating further cases," he said.
The first witness who found the victim was one of the traders at the December 5 Stadium.
The merchant when he arrived at the location wanted to sell but a lump of rock commonly used to clamp the umbrella as the roof of his merchandise was not found in the surrounding location.
The merchant tried to search until he climbed onto the stadium stands but he found a blood-covered corpse right adjacent to a lump of rock which he usually uses as an umbrella for his merchandise.
Diaz said the first step was for personnel to deal with victims by bringing the bodies to the Ulin City Ulin Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for further medical treatment.

Diaz conveyed that based on the family's statement, the victim last said goodbye from home last Sunday at around 18.00 WITA until he was finally found dead this morning.
"We use some temporary evidence for the investigation process to uncover cases," he said.
