JAKARTA - Indonesian men's doubles, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan, managed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Australian Open 2023. Meanwhile, Jonatan Christie and one mixed doubles actually fell.

Pramudya/Yeremia managed to secure a place in the advanced round after defeating other Indonesian representatives, Leo Carnando/Daniel Marthin. Appearing at the State Sport Center, Sydney, Pramudya/Yeremia won with the final score 21-18 and 21-17.

The victory over the compatriot brought Pramudya/Yeremia to face tougher opponents. In the quarter-finals, the Indonesian representative will meet the winner of the match between Kim Gi Jung/Kim Sa Rang versus Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi who is the third seed.

Unfortunately, a number of Indonesian representatives actually got bad results. Jonatan Christie, who appeared in the men's singles sector, fell in the round of 16.

Jojo, who is the seventh seed, lost to Malaysia's representative. Facing Ng Tze Young, Jojo fell in two games ending 20-22 and 15-21.

Tickets to the quarter-finals also failed to be won by Adnan Maulana/Nita Violina. Down in the mixed doubles number, they also fell in the hands of the opponent.

Facing the seeds of the two Chinese representatives, Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping, Adnan/Nita lost in two straight games where the final score showed the numbers 9-21 and 13-21.

Although two representatives fell in the round of 16, Pramudya/Yeremia were not alone because there was Rinov/Melati who first advanced to the quarter-finals to represent Indonesia.
