This Father In Jayapura, Rapes His Biological Child From The Age Of 13

JAYAPURA - The Jayapura Police Cycloop Team arrested YY (52), the perpetrator of the rape of SW (17), his own minor.

Jayapura Police Chief AKBP Fredrickus WA Maclarimboen said suspect YY had been forced since the victim was 13 years old at the residence where the two of them lived.

"YY perpetrators are subject to Article 76E in conjunction with Article 82 paragraph 1 and Article 76D in conjunction with Article 81 paragraphs 1 to 2 and 3 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison," he said in Sentani, Jayapura Regency, Tuesday, August 1, which was confiscated by Antara.

Fredrickus explained that the suspect YY was arrested in Brem Village, Kemtuk Gresi District, Jayapura Regency, Papua on Monday, July 31.

Fredrickus' lecherous act was revealed based on the report of the victim's biological mother.

The police who conducted an in-depth investigation found YY committing indecent acts against his son from 2020 to 2023.

"After each action, the victim is given Rp50,000 to Rp100,000," said Fredrickus.

During this arrest, evidence was also secured, including the victim's clothes.

To account for his actions, YY is currently being held at the Jayapura Police Headquarters.
