Boyong UMKM Ke Kalsel, Atikoh Ganjar: Cara Jateng Lebarkan Sayap Pemasaran
BANJARMASIN - Chairman of the Central Java Dekranasda Siti Atikoh Ganjar Pranowo seeks to improve the quality and market of Central Java MSME products. Among them by holding exhibitions in South Kalimantan Province.
This was revealed by Atikoh, after opening the Expo for SMEs in Dekranasda, Central Java, at the Atrium Duta Mall, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Friday, July 28. The exhibition was attended and opened directly by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo.
"We, Dekranasda, Central Java, are trying to expand our marketing wings. This is part of the promotion of handicraft products in Central Java," said Atikoh in his statement, Friday, July 28.
The exhibition will take place from July 28 to July 30, 2023. A total of 34 booths include 32 booths of Central Java SME products, and two others are South Kalimantan SME products. Products brought from Central Java, said Atikoh, are not only SMEs fostered by Dekranasda.
There are a variety of superior products for Central Java MSMEs that are brought to Banjarmasin. For example, copper crafts from Boyolali, ceramic products from Salatiga, to batik products that become icons of Pekalongan City.
This is part of the evaluation of marketing strategies. A kind of survey of how public consumers can accept products in Central Java, because it is certain that each province is different," he said.
Atikoh said, every year product marketing through this activity has increased. For example, when it was first held in 2018 in Samarinda, the total transaction was IDR 638.22 million and there was cooperation in SME training in the weaving sector.
Then in 2019 in Palembang, South Sumatra, the total transactions rose to Rp800.54 million with the cooperation of four SMEs and cooperation in educational tourism packages.
"The year 2020-2021 does not exist because of the pandemic. Then last year in Makassar, Alhamdulillah the transaction was up to Rp1,252 billion," said Atikoh.
Expo di Makassar itu juga menghasilkan kerjasama antara peserta expo sebanyak 8 UKM, kemitraan 6 UKM dan pasokan bahan baku kopi 12 UKM sebanyak 290 ton. Termasuk kesepakatan kontrak Business to Business dengan total potensi kerjasama sebesar Rp23.835 miliar.
Atikoh hopes that this expo will also increase. In addition to the larger transaction value, the Chairman of the Central Java PKK TP hopes that there will be cooperation that can be established by SMEs.
"The hope is that apart from retail, it is for a repeat order and how they can collaborate. So it's not just shopping during exhibitions, but an exhibition part of product recognition after buying it in the future is a subscription," he said.
Meanwhile, Governor Ganjar Pranowo after the event also hopes that this collaboration can develop Central Java MSMEs. Business actors can learn from each other and their class increases.

"If it increases, we will export it later. The strengths that we must assist from every existing MSME must really be directed at the program," he said.
