Trial Of DFSK Gelora E Electric Vehicle For Environmentally Friendly Tourism In Bali
JAKARTA - The government is trying hard to achieve emission-free air, by encouraging various efforts to implement electric vehicles, including in the tourism sector.
Bali Province became the pioneer by conducting a trial of electric vehicles as the first step. Recently, the Bali Provincial Transportation Service took advantage of the Gelora E DFSK vehicle.
This electric-powered minibus vehicle not only functions as a means of business transportation, but also in the tourism sector. The DFSK Gelora E trial was carried out in the Besakih Temple area, one of the local tourist icons.
Achmad Rofiqi, Head of Marketing for PT Sokoindo Automobile, expressed DFSK's support for the government's plan to create clean air by providing Gelora E for tourism needs.
"We welcome the DFSK Gelora E trial conducted by the Bali Provincial Transportation Service because this is a good opportunity for the company to further introduce the benefits of electric vehicles, especially DFSK Gelora E, in supporting a sustainable tourism sector," said Rofiqi in his statement, Friday, July 28.
DFSK Gelora E is produced to meet various mobility needs, including supporting an environmentally friendly tourism ecosystem in Bali.
This minibus is considered suitable for tourism needs in Bali, designed as a vehicle capable of carrying out heavy work and traveling long distances with various conditions in Indonesia.
A length of 4,500 mm, a width of 1,680 mm, and a height of 2,000 mm provide comfort to the reliable interior of carrying lots of goods during long trips.
DFSK Gelora E is equipped with a 42 kWh lithium-ion battery that allows this car to go up to 300 km. Although the standard charging time from 20 percent to 80 percent takes 80 minutes with fast charging, the quality of the DFSK battery has been tested.
The batteries on this minibus are equipped with IP67's high-voltage, dust-resistant, and standard water protection, as well as tight battery protection to ensure battery safety in various conditions.
