The U-17 Indonesian National Team Underwent Trial Against South Korea On August 30, 2023
JAKARTA The Indonesian U-17 national team will undergo a trial against South Korea. If there are no obstacles, the trial will be held on August 30.
PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir said that the match would take place in Jakarta. This location is based on a request from the South Korean national team U-17.
"Hopefully, if there are no changes [the trial will be held] on August 30. They ask for it in Jakarta, they don't want to be in other cities," said the General Chair who is also the Minister of SOEs on Tuesday, July 25 yesterday.
If the trial takes place in Jakarta, there are not many choices of stadiums used. Therefore, Erick wants to open negotiations with Korea to open up the possibility of conducting trials outside Jakarta.
"In Jakarta, there are not many choices of [stadiums]. So, we are counting whether to stay in Jakarta or negotiations in Bogor," said the former Inter Milan president.
