Porsche 918 Spyder Becomes Delta Airlines Exclusive Car At Hartsfield-Jackson Airport Atlanta

JAKARTA - Delta Airlines and Porsche North America have decided to provide an exciting transportation experience for aircraft users at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Delta Air Lines is a airline headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA that serves domestic and international flights, including North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean Islands.

The collaboration between the two major Georgia-based corporates is to use Porsche 918 Spyer as the airport's shuttle fleet, this is the coolest collaboration ever for an airport in the world.

Prior to Porsche 918 Spyder, the two of them had also collaborated with Macan and Panamera models to deliver selected customers between airport gates across the country. Although the two cars are quite good, they are still far from the iconic status of Porsche 918.

The Delta Elite Service Team is responsible for this hybrid hypercar, and they are entrusted with driving this million-dollar car between airport gates.

Program ini tidak hanya untuk para pelanggan kelas satu saja, tetapi juga terbuka bagi semua pelanggan Delta.

"This is a reasonable partnership in which Delta, Porsche prioritizes premium quality. Together, our team works to provide the best product and customer experience in the airline industry every year," saidio Ausband, EVP and Delta's chief customer experience officer, quoted from Roadandtrack, July 25.

It is known that Porsche 918 Spyder first emerged as a concept car at Geneva in 2010, before starting mass production in September 2013.

At first, this car was not as popular as the Ferrari LaFerrari or McLaren P1 which had been sold out since the start of production. However, Porsche 918 quickly managed to change people's views with extraordinary performance. This car is powered by a V-8 4.6 liter engine, which gives 605 dk of power. Two electric motors help to improve performance, bringing the total power to 887 dk and torques of 1280 Nm.
