KPK Asks Newly Inaugurated Deputy Minister Jokowi To Immediately Report Wealth
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the deputy minister who has just been inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to submit a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN). They must carry out their obligations.
KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan said he had signed an appeal letter. The three newly appointed deputy ministers are expected to immediately submit their assets and not delay them.
"For the recent deputy minister, we have just signed the letter, three people, if I'm not mistaken, we remind you to convey the LHKPN," Pahala told reporters quoted on Wednesday, July 26.
Previously, President Jokowi inaugurated five new deputy ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, July 17. One of them, Rosan Roeslani, who previously served as Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, became Deputy Minister of SOEs.
The appointment of the five deputy ministers is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 32 M of 2023 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Deputy Minister of State of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet for the 2019-2024 Period.
