The Thief Of The Swallow's Nest In Mamuju Was Arrested By The Police

The Mamuju Police Team, West Sulawesi (Sulbar), arrested two theft perpetrators who had broken into a swallow nest building belonging to residents.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mamuju Police, AKP Jamaluddin, said that the Unit V Resmob team of the Mamuju Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested the two perpetrators of the crime based on public reports through the results of closed circuit television (CCTV) monitoring on Friday (21/7).

According to him, the two perpetrators of the theft crime, each with the initials IF (23) and S (20) were successfully secured by a team of the Resmob Unit unit in the Sawupalli Hamlet, Saletto Village, Simboro District, Mamuju Regency.

"The perpetrator was arrested after a public report was made, then an investigation was carried out of the alleged perpetrator who was caught on CCTV carrying out the theft of a swallow's nest belonging to the residents," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 25.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit said the two perpetrators carried out the action by prying out the door of the building where the swallow's nest was using a crowbar and then they entered the building to take the swallow's nest.

He said the two perpetrators had been detained at the Mamuju Police Headquarters for further legal proceedings and were held accountable for their actions.

According to Jamaluddin, the two perpetrators admitted their actions after an interrogation, and the perpetrators had sold the stolen goods to the Megah Jaya Shop on Jalan Punggawa Malolo, Mamuju Regency for IDR 4,160,000.

"The two perpetrators admitted that "The two perpetrators admitted that the stolen goods had been used to meet their daily needs," he said.
