President Jokowi Showcases White Shirt Made By Vocational School Students In Jambi
BENGKULU - President Joko Widodo showed off the shirt he was wearing as the result of the production of one of the State Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Jambi.
"Just so you know, the clothes I wear are the production of SMK4 Jambi. I ordered 2 months ago, then I immediately wore it, it's good," said President Jokowi during a working visit in Bengkulu, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, July 20.
According to the president, the results of the production of the hands of vocational students are also feasible and able to compete in the industrial world as long as all sectors support students in the adequate teaching and learning process.
"Later, maybe here (SMKN 2 Bengkulu Tengah) you can make a car, you can make a motorcycle, if we really direct our vocational school children, their skills are in accordance with what is needed by the industry and later entrepreneurs," said the president.
President Jokowi said schools and the industrial world must be connected and there is also what is being learned in schools with what is needed in the industrial world.
"Because anything good is connected between schools and industry so that the needs can belinked and match," said the president.
