Bank Muamalat Launches Cardless Cash Pull Feature In Indomaret
JAKARTA - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk launched a cardless cash withdrawal feature at Indomaret.
This cash withdrawal transaction can be done using the mobile banking application Muamalat DIN.
Bank Muamalat Director of Operations and Digital Affairs Wahyu Avianto explained, through this feature Bank Muamalat customers can withdraw cash at more than 21,000 Indomaret outlets spread throughout Indonesia in order to implement an Online to Offline (O2O) strategy.
"As the first bank of pure sharia, we are committed to always providing innovative and modern financial services. The cardless cash withdrawal feature at Indomaret outlets is a solution for customers because access is easier without having to go to ATMs or branch offices," he said in a statement to the media, Monday, July 17.
Wahyu explained, this cash withdrawal feature is in line with the trend in which the majority of customer digital transactions are carried out through the Muamalat DIN application.
For information, as of June 30, 2023, the total number of users of the Muamalat DIN application was recorded at around 434,000.
This figure is an increase of 27 percent compared to the same period last year.
To be able to use this feature, customers simply login to the Muamalat DIN application, access the Pull Cash menu and select the Indomaret merchant to get the ID Token.
The token is then shown to the Indomaret cashier who will scan the ID Token or input the token number along with the customer's cellphone number and the nominal money to be withdrawn.
Furthermore, the cashier will provide proof of transactions and cash to customers after the transaction is successful.
The nominal amount of money that can be withdrawn is at least IDR 50,000 and a maximum of IDR 1 million. The transaction limit per day is IDR 1 million.
In addition to cardless cash withdrawals at Indomaret, customers can still make cash withdrawals at ATMs at Bank BNI, BRI, Mandiri and other banks using ATM cards as usual, including Bank Muamalat ATMs.
