Jokowi Ensures That The Construction Of The Presidential Palace At IKN Runs According To Target
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo ensured that the construction of the Presidential Palace in the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago went smoothly in accordance with the planned timeline.
The President conveyed this after reviewing the creation of the Garuda Wingbar Ornament at the IKN Presidential Palace at the Siluet Nyoman Nuarta Workshop at NuArt Culture Park, West Bandung Regency, West Java, Wednesday, July 12.
"I came to Pak Nyoman Nuarta's factory to ensure that the IKN construction, especially the Presidential Palace, went according to time so I checked everything here, God willing, it will run well according to the time we have targeted," Jokowi said as quoted by ANTARA from a statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.
During the review, the President saw firsthand the process of making the Garuda Square Ornament at the Presidential Palace of IKN Nusantara.
The President listened to the welding process, lasers, and coloring of the ornaments made from yellow metal.
"So that later it can be in accordance with the field," said Jokowi.
The Head of State ensures that he always receives routine and up-to-date reports regarding the development of the IKN Nusantara development from his staff who directly inspect the field.
"Yes, maybe before October 2023, but the minister is there every day, the Head of IKN is also there who always reports to me," said Jokowi.
The President visited NuArt Culture Park accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, and West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.

Previously, President Jokowi on several occasions expressed his belief that the Presidential Palace at IKN Nusantara was ready to be used to hold the Ceremony of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in August 2024.
Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono on June 1, 2023 stated that infrastructure development at IKN Nusantara has reached 29 percent to prepare for the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony in 2024.
"Now the progress is around 29 percent. We are targeting several buildings to be completed in July 2024 so that in August a ceremony can be used," Basuki said when met after the Pancasila Birthday Commemoration Ceremony Ceremony at Monas Field, Central Jakarta, on June 1, 2023.
