Viral Allegations Of ABC Mall Mangkrak, Expert: DKI DPRD Must Check Fields Bring Experts To Reveal Real Facts
JAKARTA - PT Wahana Agung Indonesia Propertindo (WAIP) dismissed a statement related to the stalled management of Ancol Beach City (ABC) Mall, which was mentioned at the Commission B Working Meeting of the DKI Jakarta DPRD with the Board of Directors of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol.
To ensure the truth of the information provided by the WAIP, Trisakti University Criminal Law Expert Abdul Fickar encouraged the DKI Jakarta DPRD and law enforcement officials to conduct direct examinations in the field.
"Just check it in the field by bringing a competent expert to see and give an opinion whether this ABC Mall management activity is stalled or the management is not in accordance with the agreed cooperation," Fickar told reporters, Friday, July 7, 2023.
In addition, Fickar also suggested that Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD to summon the management of ABC Mall, including Hendra Lie. This summons is to get the truth regarding the facts circulating in the community until it goes viral on social media.
"Yes, that's right (must be called), so that information from the first hand is clear to answer issues and reveal the facts what actually happened in the ABC Mall management dispute," he said.
In line with public policy observer Yanuar Wijanarko assessed that the DPRD should involve experts or experts who are to uncover the alleged dilapidated cooperation agreement for the management of ABC Mall.
"In Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, there are many MICE experts who can be involved to reveal facts related to what went wrong in managing ABC Mall management, besides that, they also involve legal experts to check whether the cooperation agreement for managing the DKI BUMD mall is in accordance with the rules or not," he said.
"If later these experts find irregularities, then they can involve law enforcement officials to process whether any criminal or civil acts have been violated in cooperation in managing ABC Mall," he said again.
According to him, the use of the term stalled term should not be seen just as the construction is not completed.
"Because stalled can also be used if there are buildings that are not maintained or neglected or neglected. Examples of stalled housing projects due to many who do not sell their units. Now this is where the DPRD must be observant in interpreting the word stalled in the alleged ABC Mall dispute," he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ismail, said that his party wanted to explore more deeply, including the completeness of the cooperation document for the management of ABC Mall. This is done so that the public can get information about the problems that exist in the DKI Jakarta BUMD.

According to him, the final decision will be made when his party has seen and fully explored the points of each problem in Ancol. Regarding the Special Committee, Ismail said that the mechanism would be adjusted, in accordance with the rules and regulations for the formation of the Special Committee.
