Bank Mandiri Distributes IDR 1 Trillion Channeling Facility To Kredivo
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk continues to consistently provide financial solutions through a series of service innovations and collaborations that can meet all customer needs.
Most recently, Bank Mandiri collaborated with PT Kredivo Finance Indonesia (Kredivo), digital credit platform and fintech company P2P (peer-to-peer) lending, Kredi Fazz to expand the digital financial market in Indonesia by disbursing loans worth IDR 1 trillion in the channeling scheme. President Director of Bank Mandiri, Darmawan Junaidi said, this collaboration is in line with Bank Mandiri's business strategy to provide financial needs solutions, especially for urban communities.
"Bank Mandiri continues to carry out business development, one of which is to become a locomotive urban and enter the ecosystem sirkel of urban communities that can meet the needs of people's lifestyle," Darmawan explained in his official statement, Wednesday, July 5.
Similarly, Bank Mandiri's Network and Retail Banking Director, Aquarius Rudianto said, this collaboration is expected to answer banking needs in expanding financial inclusion, especially to underbanked communities or which are difficult to reach with banking credit products.
"Kredivo is Bank Mandiri's first consumptive lending fintech partner. We see Kredivo as having bright business prospects, and strong business fundamentals. This collaboration is a form of our efforts to diversify our loans and serve the underbanked community by providing access to digital financing to meet their needs," said Aquarius. the distribution of channeling facilities by Bank Mandiri is the first distribution received by Kredivo from state-owned banks, and is an important milestone for all parties in providing flexible, secure, and affordable credit access to all people in Indonesia that is in line with the rate of economic growth.
Meanwhile, the Bank codenamed the BMRI exchange explained that collaboration with fintech companies is not the first time the company has explored its digital ecosystem to expand Bank Mandiri's digital ecosystem. According to him, collaboration with fintech is also Bank Mandiri's strategy in digital transformation in order to be able to create sustainable business growth.
It was recorded that until the end of March 2023, Bank Mandiri had disbursed loans to fintech companies amounting to IDR 2.52 trillion and reached more than 186,000 borrowers throughout Indonesia.

Meanwhile, CEO of Kredivo Indonesia, Umang Rustagi explained that his party continues to actively innovate to provide better digital credit solutions for its millions of users. One of the main innovations is AI-enabled real-time decisioning, which is able to analyze credit scores for prospective users, verify data, and predict possible defaults. This makes Kredivo the standard regarding the sophistication of risk management systems in the industry.
