Mark Zuckerberg Ready To War With Elon Musk, Launches New Social Media Threads This Week!
JAKARTA - Meta seems to see an opportunity to launch its new social media amid issues Twitter is facing, as a result of imposing restrictions on tweets that can be seen. His name threads, reportedly, will launch this week for iOS users.
Based on App Store data in the United States (US), Threads will be officially released and downloadable on July 6. Likewise on Android, where the company shows a countdown on its official website, stating the same date on iOS.
Threads are designed differently from other social media, he will connect with his sister Instagram. Users don't need to create an account from scratch, they will immediately have a followed list and followers.
This means that Threads users already have an Instagram circle that was there from the start and posted on interfaces similar to Twitter, Mastodon, Bluesky, or one of the social apps focused on other text.

"Whatever you are interested in, you can follow and connect directly with your favorite creators and others who like the same thing or build your own loyal followers to share your ideas, opinions, and creativity with the world," he added.
Although Threads is based on Instagram, it will have its own app. According to Money Control quoted from TechCrunch, Tuesday, July 4, an Instagram spokesperson described Threads as decentralized social media.
Meta as the parent of Instagram and Threads said recently, Threads will be compatible with Mastodon and hosting on the decentralized ActivityPub network.
