Partitpost Report: More Than Half Of Social Media Users Like Short Video Content
JAKARTA - Recently, Partitpost, Asia's leading influencer marketing platform, along with MSW Ventures, recently released Asia Pacific Insights: Influencer Marketing Report 2023.
The Partitpost survey to nearly 1,000 social media users aged between 25-45 years showed that time spent on social media increased from 2022 to 2023. As many as 88 percent of people claimed to spend more than 2 hours a day on social media.
Of this number, most social media users stated that they use social media to obtain information and create content to share. Users also use social media to connect with family and friends.
This report also shows that in 2023, social media users have a high interest in short video content, more than 50 percent of social media users prefer short video content types when influencers make product or service recommendations.

TikTok and Instagram Reels are two platforms to publish brand content from influencers. This report also shows that there is an 83.6 percent increase in social media users who prefer TikTok in 2023 compared to 2022.
Thus, marketing products or brands through social media can be an effective step to reach more users.
This report even found that nearly 94 percent of Indonesians need to see products/services promoted by influencers at least 2 times before making purchases. They are also more affected by the products recommended by many influencers within a certain period of time.
