2 Weeks Formed, TIP Polri Task Force Arrest 532 Suspects
JAKARTA - The National Police's Trafficking Crime Task Force (TPPO) has received 456 police reports (LP) to date. From the series of investigations into the report, 532 people were named suspects."Of the hundreds of LPs handled, the TIP Task Force has arrested 532 suspects," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in his statement, Wednesday, June 21.Then, from the disclosure of the TIP case, at least 1,572 victims could be saved. Because, there are 361 cases that use this mode."Furthermore, there are 116 cases of commercial sex workers (PSK), 6 cases of being used as crew members (ABK) and 25 cases of exploitation of children," he said.Ramadhan continued, of the hundreds of cases handled, most of them are already at the investigation stage. In fact, some have been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office to enter the trial process.
