Do Kwon Was Found Guilty By The Montenegro Court
JAKARTA - Do Kwon, founder of Terra LUNA, has been convicted by the Montenegro court for possession and use of fake passports. The court announced that Kwon was found guilty of a criminal act of document forgery.
The action resulted in Montenegro law enforcement authorities confiscating several documents of Kwon's travel, including a Costa Rica passport, a Belgian passport, and two other forms of identification. In his ruling, the court sentenced Kwon to four months in prison, after considering all the relevant factors in this case.
A statement from the translated court stated that the sentence was the result of careful consideration. Kwon was given eight days to file an appeal after receiving a written copy of the court's ruling.

This sentence came after Kwon had previously been given a guarantee in the amount of 435,000 US dollars (Rp 6.5 billion). However, the Montenegro High Court firmly revoked the lower guarantee verdict on May 24, 2023. Marija Rakovic, a court spokesman, directly provided this information to Bloomberg.
Currently, Kwon has served a total of 88 days in Montenegro. If he does not appeal against the court's decision, then he is expected to serve an additional 122 days in prison.
