Mamuju Police, West Sulawesi ensnared the perpetrator of the murder of a high school student from Mamasa Regency, whose body was found in a river in the Jalan Arteri area of Mamuju Regency, with multiple articles.
"The perpetrator of the murder of a high school student with the initials HS was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code and the Child Protection Law with a threat of 20 years in prison," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mamuju Police, AKP Jamaluddin, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 14.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit conveyed that HS' motive for the murder of a high school student from Mamasa Regency with the initials HN (16), was because he was annoyed when the victim refused the perpetrator's invitation to have sex like a husband and wife couple.
"The perpetrator was annoyed when the victim refused to be invited to have sex so that HS then strangled the high school student's neck to death. The perpetrator then dumped the victim's body in the river in the Jalan Arterial Mamuju area," said Jamaluddin.
Prior to the murder, said Jamaluddin, the perpetrator picked up the victim at his house in Mamasa Regency using a pickup with the excuse that he would take him for a walk and eat in Mamuju City.
"While on Arterial Mamuju Street, the perpetrator forced the victim to have intercourse on the car but the victim refused, which irritated HS and then strangled HS to death," explained Jamaluddin.
