BRIN Hands Over 4,000 State-Owned Assets To The Ministry Of Villages PDTT, All Of Which Are In The Former BRIN PRPJ Office
JAKARTA - The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) handed over approximately 4,000 state-owned assets or BMN to the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT).
Head of BRIN Laksana Tri Handoko hopes that the asset can provide benefits for the state civil apparatus alias ASN at the Ministry of Villages PDTT.
"Hopefully this BMN asset can be developed and can be better," he said in a statement from Jakarta, Wednesday, June 7, which was confiscated by Antara.
The assets handed over were in the form of land, buildings and buildings, along with irrigation roads and networks, equipment and machinery, and other fixed assets attached to the BRIN Pekayon office building in East Jakarta.
Previously, the asset became a facility for BRIN's Remote Sensing Research Center (PRPJ).
Based on the contents of the minutes signed by BRIN and the Ministry of Villages, the transfer of assets is in the status of a temporary use period within a period of five months.
The provision of temporary assets is intended to facilitate the mobilization of goods and people from the PDTT Village Ministry to immediately occupy the former BRIN PRPJ office building.

PDTT Village Minister Abdul Halim Iskandar thanked BRIN for providing assets belonging to the country.
"The assets will later be occupied by around 450 ASN of the Directorate General of PDTT, which was previously based on Jalan Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta," said Halim.
"We will make the best use of it and immediately follow up with a Memorandum of Understanding and a joint work agreement to then organize it. We will be responsible for maintaining BMN assets during this temporary use period," he added.
The signing of the minutes of handing over state property assets was carried out at the Indriya Bhuwana BRIN Pekayon Building, East Jakarta, on Monday, June 5.
The handover process was carried out directly by the Head of BRIN, Laksana Tri Handoko, to the Minister of Villages of PDTT, Abdul Halim Iskandar.
