Sido Muncul Didanguk Becomes The Best Pharmaceutical Company
JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) received the 2023 Indonesian Award (BIA) in the category of Best Pharmaceutical Company. As a herbal and pharmaceutical company, Sido Muncul is considered capable of maintaining positive growth over a period of 3 years.
SIDO is also considered capable of implementing ESG principles (environmental, social, and governance). Moreover, it can improve performance during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic and face global challenges.
The 2023 Indonesian Award (BIA) Business Award was handed over directly by the Board of Commissioners of Business Indonesia Group to Sido Muncul represented by Public Relations Manager Sido Muncul Sri Wahyuni at the 2023 Indonesian Award Award Award Award event held on Wednesday 31 May in Ballroom, JW Marriot Hotel Jakarta.
Director of Marketing Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat expressed his gratitude to Bisnis Indonesia for entrusting the best pharmaceutical company category award to Sido Muncul.
"For me, this is an honor. We are a company that produces herbs, food supplies but gets an award as the best pharmaceutical company," said Irwan.
As a Herbal Medicine and Pharmaceutical Company, continued Irwan, the Sido Muncul factory since 2002 has obtained pharmaceutical standard factory certification and always prioritizes the quality of each product.
"Quality is a target that we will improve. Our factory must be good and meet the requirements, be environmentally friendly and meet all qualifications as a safe company," he explained.

To grow in the new era, Irwan explained that Sido Muncul had started several years ago with the Tolak Angin factory which was automatic and continued to improve Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) according to regulations.
"We have prepared 5-6 years ago with an automation company. We have fixed the SOP and what we are doing is Beyond the Regulation. The government is implementing A, we are trying to become an A+. Because in the past we imagined, we will face a new era," concluded Irwan.
