It Is Thought That It Will Not Continue, This Sports Car From China Suddenly Paving In Italy
JAKARTA - Chinese auto giant FAW Group sent an EV sportscar, Hongqi S9 at a classic event taking place in Italy.
The car, which is under the sub-brand umbrella, Hongqi, has succeeded in attracting public attention at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este event, Lake Como, Italy. Although it is known that S9 is far from finished.
Reporting from Carnewschina, Monday, May 22, Hongqi S9 was present at the event with a small ICE engine. In contrast to what manufacturers have revealed so far, S9 is equipped with a 4.0 liter V8 engine.
The Hongqi S9 project began in 2019 with a 4.0 liter V8 engine and an electric motor, and it said the S9 could emit a combined power of 1,400 dk. It is claimed that this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in less than 2 seconds and has a maximum speed of up to 400 km/hour.
Actually, Hongqi S9 will be launched in the second half of 2022. However, its development is still far from over. Various Chinese local media reported that this project was stopped. And so surprisingly, the sportscar suddenly arrived on the shores of Lake Como, Italy.
This car comes in a different form than the one shown in 2022. The S9 is displayed in black with a red line that passes from the front end to the back.
The S9 also comes with air intakes on the front bumper, door, ferry, and even rear bumper. Adding to aggressiveness, Hongqi pinned a large rear wing and a diffuser that helps optimize aerodynamics.
