SAR Team Finds One Of 2 Boy Drowning In Sukabumi Cimandiri River
SUKABUMI - The joint search and rescue (SAR) team found the body of one of two girls who drowned in the Cimandiri River, Tegaldatar Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.
"The victim who was found dead was named Afika Lintang Zulfana (8) on Saturday at 16.15 WIB at a radius of 100 meters from the scene," said SAR Post Coordinator Sukabumi Suryo Adianto as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 20.
According to Suryo, the victim was found on the banks of the Cimandiri River, Cibatu Village, Cikembar District floating. Receiving information that one of the victims was found, the team immediately docked to evacuate the body of this poor boy.
Afika's body was immediately taken to the funeral home which is located not far from the scene of the disaster.
Representatives from the SAR team then handed over the body of the girl who was still in grade 2 of this elementary school to the family for immediate burial.
With the discovery of Afika's body, there is currently only one victim who has not been found, namely Nisrina Rifdatun Nusabah (8). The search will continue tomorrow morning or Sunday (21/5), because the conditions at the location are dark and the weather is slightly cloudy.
