German Caucasians Evacuated Due To Injury While Swimming At Kelingking Beach Nusa Penida
Bali Basarnas evacuated foreign nationals (foreigners) from Germany who suffered injuries while swimming in the waters in the Kelingking Beach area, Nusa Penida.
SAR Alert Unit Coordinator Nusa Penida Cakra Negara said the foreigner was hit by the waves, resulting in a dislocation on his right arm.
Bali Basarnas received information about the incident from the local community at 15.45 WITA. The victim is a woman with the initials NG and is about 29 years old," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 20.
From the initial report, his party immediately dispatched Nusa Penida standby unit personnel using the Rigit Inflatable Boat (RIB) together with the Nusa Penida Police, and Nusa Medika medical personnel to carry out the first handling of the victim.
Arriving at Kelingking Beach, two Basarnas Bali personnel were deployed from RIB and swam to the point where the German foreigner was to provide treatment and brought to the top of RIB.
"About 1 hour we managed to evacuate the victim by increasing it to the spinal board and then pulling it to RIB," said Cakra.
From RIB, the NG victim was immediately taken to Banjar Nyuh Port, Nusa Penida, and picked up by an ambulance to the Nusa Medika Clinic at around 17.15 WITA.

In different locations, Basarnas Bali has also found domestic tourist victims washed away in the waters in the Petitenget Beach area since Friday (19/5).
The victim, Dominggus Marton Bolle (36) was found dead and stranded.
Basarnas Bali reported that the body of the tourist from Flores was seen at around 16.10 WITA on the beach with a distance of 600 meters to the south from the scene on Petitenget Beach, Badung.
