Check Heart Service Equipment At Komodo Hospital Referral To ASEAN Summit, Minister Of Health: Just Install Software
Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin expressed his appreciation for the hard work of all parties in accelerating the preparation of heart services at the Komodo Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Komodo Hospital became a referral hospital at the 42nd ASEAN Summit.
"Thank you to my friends here for working very hard to clean up the room. This tool is a precise, sophisticated, expensive tool, billions, installed quickly, just installed the application, software," Budi said during his visit to Komodo Labuan Bajo Hospital, West Manggarai, Monday.
The Minister of Health arrived in Labuan Bajo at 16.00 WITA and immediately reviewed the readiness of the regional government-owned general hospital.
After seeing the hospital lobby, Minister of Health Budi went up to the third floor and saw the heart catheterization laboratory.
During a last visit to Labuan Bajo a few weeks ago, Minister of Health Budi still found the room in the process of being worked on.
However, when he entered the room, Minister of Health Budi found a complete facility and looked amazed by the special equipment of the heart.
Minister of Health Budi was involved in discussions with the Cardiologist and Blood Vessel Dr. Ikadek Susila Surya Darma and Neurolog Dr. Angga Krisna who were assisted from Prof. Ngoerah Bali Hospital.
"If there is a heart attack, the first intervention installs the ring, he can install it," said Minister of Health Budi.
He also asked about the operation of the facilities in the room. Minister of Health Budi had discussions with the operator of the tool.
"It must be hard work," he advised.
Furthermore, Minister of Health Budi hopes that the available equipment can be balanced with the availability of a cardiologist.
Minister of Health Budi asked the Regent of West Manggarai Edistasius Endi to look for the best doctors who are regional children to take scholarships that have been provided by the Ministry of Health.
"This year there are 2,500 scholarships from the Ministry of Health. Look for doctors who are enthusiastic about studying," he hoped.

He was accompanied by the Regent of West Manggarai Edistasius Endi and the Director of the Komodo Labuan Bajo Hospital Ermelinda Gampar.
In addition to the heart catheterization laboratory, Minister of Health Budi also saw inpatient rooms for VVIP, VIPs, operating rooms, and other rooms.
Komodo Hospital is one of the hospitals appointed by the Ministry of Health as a referral hospital for the delegation of the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.
In the hospital, there are 2 VVIP rooms, 8 VIP rooms, and 30 rooms divided into Class I and Class II.
In addition, there are other medical facilities, namely the VVIP Special Emergency Installation, a VVIP Special Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room, and a public operating room.
