Kemenkeu Guyur Rp41.42 Billion For Road Care In Flores NTT
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) disbursed a budget of IDR 41.42 billion in 2023 for the maintenance of national road infrastructure in the Flores Island area, East Nusa Tenggara.
"The Preservation of national roads on Flores Island is carried out to maintain road performance so that it remains useful to support development in the regions," said Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of NTT Province, Ministry of Finance Catur Ariyanto Widodo when confirmed in Kupang, Saturday.
He conveyed this related to the support of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for road infrastructure improvement in NTT in 2023.
He explained that the road maintenance project was carried out on two sections, namely Ruteng-Reo-Kendindi worth Rp22.66 billion and Jalan Kota Bajawa-Malanuza-Gako Rp18.76 billion.
"The budget has been disbursed in stages with realized value in the first quarter of 19.47 percent and 19 percent, respectively," he said, quoting Antara.
Catur said the road maintenance was part of the government's strategic project in 2023 in NTT.

An adequate road infrastructure is an urgent need to support the mobilization of people and goods which are expected to encourage development growth or the economy in the regions.
Furthermore, Catur said, the infrastructure development also reflects the performance of the APBN as a leverage for the progress of development in the regions, so that the implementation needs to be guarded along with various elements of residents.
"The use of the budget disbursed from the APBN certainly belongs to all residents so that it needs to be monitored so that the results of the development can provide optimal benefits for the welfare of the residents," he said.
