Buru Police The Perpetrator Of The Middle School Student Shooting To Death In Malacca NTT
The Malacca Police, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is chasing the perpetrator who shot a junior high school student to death with an air rifle in Malacca.
Malacca Police Chief AKBP Rudy Junus Jacob Ledo said the autopsy process for the victim had been carried out by a medical team from the NTT Police Dokkes Bid. There was one air rifle bullet inside the victim's head.
"Currently we are pursuing the perpetrator to be arrested and reveal the motive behind his actions," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 2.
Regarding the autopsy results, it was known that the air rifle bullet that entered the victim's head was 3 centimeters deep and hit the victim's brain.
Furthermore, the air rifle bullet inside the victim's head has been taken for investigation.
The investigative team also said that until now they do not know the cause or motive of the shooting of junior high school students.
The victim himself joined the organization or martial arts of the Setia Hati Terate Association (PSHT) who was shot while attending martial arts training with his co-star on April 28 evening at around 23.00 WITA.
The police chief appealed to fellow and senior victims, especially the PSHT organization and the family not to take actions that violate the law, such as taking justice into their own hands if they find the whereabouts of the perpetrators.
"Don't judge yourself and leave the settlement of this case to the police," he said.

The police chief also asked residents and local governments to maintain Kamtibmas so that the situation in the districts which borders remains conducive after this incident.
"Give this case to be handled by the police, no more playing revenge and legal proceedings later when we can get the perpetrators, we will release them and will process them according to the applicable law," said the Malacca Police Chief.
