Starting To Be Sold, Chery Tiggo 9 Ready To Compete With Hyundai Kona

Chery has just announced that its newest SUV, Tiggo 9 will begin its presale period on April 29.

Reporting from Carnewschina, Friday, April 28, 2023, Chery Tiggo 9 will be positioned as a mid-size SUV. The crossover has a wide dimension, with a length of 4,820 mm, a width of 1930 mm, a height of 1,699 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm.

Like other Chery models, Tiggo 9 will adopt a wide goal decorated with a chrom strip and a logo placed in its center. Also pinned the lights on both sides are small and narrow.

While the back has an elongated lamp and is equipped with Chery writing in the middle of the lamp. Also displayed is a chrom coated exhaust on each side associated with a black horizontal strip.

For the interior, the car has a 12.3-inch LCD instrument and a control screen of the same size. It is also equipped with built-in wireless charging features, drive voters, and other multifunction buttons.

Meanwhile, the seat is wrapped from the skin which makes the impression more luxurious in this car. The front seat can be tuned electronically and provided with heating features.

The Tiggo 9 model will be equipped with a 2.0 liter TGDI turbocharged engine which can produce 261 dk and 400 Nm torque with an automatic gearbox of eight accelerations that can go up to 205 km/hour.

Fuel consumption on Tiggo 9 is quite impressive, which can cost 7.7 liters per 100 km. Tiggo 9 is not only available in the gasoline version, but Chery will prepare a hybrid version in the future.

Chery priced Tiggo 9, namely 160,000 yuan or around Rp338.9 million. Of course, the price offered is much cheaper than its competitors, such as the gasoline version of Hyundai Kona which costs Rp363 million.
