Mahfud MD Estimates That The Working Period Of The BLBI Task Force Is Extended Based On Performance
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD indicated that the government would extend the working period of the Task Force for Handling State Collection Rights in Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI Task Force).
The reason is, the team working period formed based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 6 of 2021 concerning the BLBI Task Force will end on December 31, 2023.
"Yes, indeed this is given until December (2023), there are still eight months left. God willing, there will be an extension," Mahfud told the media crew at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, Thursday, April 27, which was confiscated by Antara.
Mahfud appreciated the achievement of the BLBI Task Force, led by the Director General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance Rionald Silaban.
"We have received Rp30 trillion, yes, others have run people, whose goods have been transferred to our legal problems, continue as a legal problem for those who, for example, used to be guaranteed certificates that were transferred again," he said.
The performance of the BLBI Task Force had received the spotlight from Member of Commission XI DPR Mukhamad Misbakhun who complained that the achievement was only around 25 to 88.3 percent or the acquisition of non-tax state assets and revenues (PNPB) in the form of assets covering an area of 39.06 million hectares or an estimated value of IDR 28.53 trillion as of March 25, 2023.
