Winning Ganjar Pranowo In The 2024 Presidential Election, Ahmad Basarah Assigned By Puan To Be The Coordinator Of Volunteers
JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP for Political and Security Affairs, Puan Maharani, has assigned the Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Foreign Affairs Ahmad Basarah as the coordinator of volunteers as of today, Thursday, April 27. This assignment was made to win the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.
"Today, Mbak Puan Maharani issued a letter of assignment signed by the chairman of the DPP for Political Affairs and also the secretary general who assigned Mr. Ahmad Basarah as the coordinator of volunteers," said PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto to reporters at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Thursday, April 27.
In this assignment, Ahmad Basarah will be assisted by members of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PDIP faction, Adian Napitupulu, as a representative. Hasto said, Adian was chosen because he had coordinated volunteers in the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections.
"So that we have built very good communication," he said.
Next, this team will also be accompanied by members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Deddy Sitorus and Rizki Aprilia. The formation of this team, said Hasto, aims to unite volunteers who support Ganjar as PDIP's supporting presidential candidate.
In addition, this assignment is also proof that Puan is carrying out the mandate of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to become a warlord to win Ganjar. "Thus this is part of fast movement while the party continues to build political cooperation," he said.
Meanwhile, Basarah as the coordinator of Ganjar's supporting volunteers said that the formation of the team was carried out because of the high enthusiasm for support for the white-haired figure.
