Tinder Adds Selfie Video Method To Photo Verification Feature
JAKARTA - Tinder, the world's most popular dating app, added a new photo verification process by asking users to take selfie videos, as a way to strengthen your real self-verification.
In addition, users who have verified photos can also ask their partners to do the same before chatting. This will give them more control over the way they interact with other people.
Not only that, another advantage is, users who verify photos can apply the option to only receive messages from other users who also verify photos in their Message Settings.
This tool provides one more way to help members better assess their suitability. For our 18-25-year-old members, being a Verified 1 Photo gives them 10% higher chances to match, "said Rory Kozoll, SVP Product Integrity on Tinder in an announcement on its official website, quoted Thursday, April 27.

"We will continue to prioritize this method to help make Tinder a safer place to meet new people," he added.
To ensure the authenticity of your partner later, users who subscribe to Tinder Gold will be able to filter "Like" them only for members who are verified by Photos.
Meanwhile, selfie video verification in Photo Verification is now available globally, and the ability to select "Photo Verified Members" only in Message Settings will begin rolling out in the coming months.
