Eid Holiday, Walkot Hendri Septa Reminds Traders In Padang Not To Raise Prices Like A Heart

Padang Mayor, West Sumatra, Hendri Septa asked that there be no more cases of burglary and illegal levies on visitors in the local city during the 1444 Hijri Eid al-Fitr holiday."We ask traders not to do burglary by raising food prices at tourist attractions during the Eid holidays," he said in Padang, Antara, Wednesday, April 19.The Trade Office reminded that there should be no residents around tourist attractions for illegal burglary and levies, thus damaging the image of Padang City as a tourist destination city.According to Hendri, good hospitality and services from traders and residents will give a good impression to visitors so that they come back for a vacation."We must be able to become good citizens of the city, good hosts, besides our provincial capital but also a city of extraordinary destination for its natural beauty," he said.He said the city of Padang also has beautiful beaches and hills, this is certainly an attraction for people to come to visit Padang."We have had all those beautiful tourist attractions,” he said.Meanwhile, the Head of the Padang Transportation Agency, Indra Syani, said that parking rates in Padang City have been arranged in such a way as per the General Retribution Regional Regulation."The tariff for two-wheeled vehicles is Rp. 2,000 and Rp. 3,000, four-wheeled vehicles and other vehicles have been regulated in existing regulations," he said.He said the Padang City Government opened a complaint service in the event of an act of burglary or illegal levies on parking rates in a number of tourist destinations in the local area.
"We have security posts, service posts and integrated posts at tourist destination points, please report them there and they will be followed up," he said.
