Astra Tol Cipali Predicts Homecoming Flow To Increase 4.1 Percent On D-3 Lebaran
JAKARTA - Astra Infra Toll Road Cikopo-Palimanan (Astra Tol Cipali) is ready to support the flow of Eid homecoming and return to Lebaran 2023 through improving toll road facilities and infrastructure to provide comfort and safety for road users.
"With the absence of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) on the homecoming and backflows in 2023, we as the manager of the Cipali Toll Road are ready to provide maximum service to road users," said President Director of Astra Tol Cipali Firdaus Azis in a written statement, Friday, February 14.
Firdaus said that his party predicts that the increase in the flow of homecoming on the Cipali Toll Road will increase by 4.1 percent or as many as 121 thousand vehicles will pass on the D-3 homecoming flow.
Meanwhile, the prediction of backflow of 139 thousand vehicles will pass on D+3 after Eid.
Astra Tol Cipali has also completed the third lane widening work in front of the KM 86, 102 and 130 rest areas on April 13, 2023.
"We hope that the widening of the third lane on a priority scale in front of the rest area can unravel the density that occurs. Meanwhile, the widening of the meeting between Jasa Marga and Astra Tol Cipali will begin again after Eid," said Firdaus.
In realizing safe, comfortable and smooth toll roads, of course Astra Tol Cipali prepares various anticipations in preventing the accumulation of vehicles at several points such as rest areas that become the favorite locations for road users to rest.
One of them is by setting a break in the rest area in collaboration with the regional police, if the capacity of the capacity in the rest area has entered 70 percent by making an appeal to be able to rest in the next rest area or exit the nearest toll gate so that you can rest optimally.

With the increase in traffic volume during the 2023 Lebaran homecoming flow, Astra Tol Cipali also added various facilities in rest areas to increase the comfort of road users by adding toilets in the rest area of KM 86 towards Jakarta and Cirebon as many as 15 booths and 10 urines, as well as at rest area 130 towards Jakarta with the addition of 32 toilet booths.
Not only that, the capacity of parking bags located in the rest area of KM 86 towards Jakarta and Cirebon on the Cipali Toll Road can accommodate up to 150 vehicles.
Then, at the rest area of KM 130 towards Jakarta and Cirebon, 350 vehicles can float. For type A rest areas located at KM 102, 101, 166 and 164 have parking bag capacity of more than 700 vehicles.
