Former KPK Leaders Denies Accepting Invitations To The 15th Floor Of The KPK Building From Alexander Marwata
JAKARTA - Former Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Saut Situmorang, denied that there was an invitation from the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Alexander Marwata, when he was operating in front of the KPK's Red and White Building on Monday, April 10. He felt that he had never received an invitation to go up to the 15th floor, which used to be his former office.
"As far as I remember and the digital footprint, it meant that there was no invitation on WhatsApp," Saut said when contacted by VOI on Tuesday, April 11.
Saut also felt that he had never received a message from a third party. "But the message could not be received," he said.
Furthermore, Saut did not want to talk much about his former colleague's statement. Moreover, the invitation was not necessarily fulfilled immediately if he accepted an invitation from Alexander.
"If invited, of course I will discuss with other friends first, please. Because we came yesterday in groups," he said.
"If I accept it, it will be crowded too, so I have to discuss it with other friends," continued Saut.

Meanwhile, another former KPK leader, Bambang Widjojanto, also felt that he did not accept an invitation from Alexander. He even asked who the invitation was conveyed to.
"I myself never got any information and confirmed the matter to myself. Ask Mr. Alex, who was the information (invitation, ed) submitted to me? What is clear is not to me," he said when confirmed by reporters.
Previously, Alexander Marwata claimed to have invited the former leader who reported KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri to the Supervisory Board. This moment occurred when Abraham Samad, Bambang Widjojanto, and Saut Situmorang were doing a speech in front of the KPK's Red and White House on Monday, April 10.
This oration was carried out by the three before reporting KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri to the KPK Supervisory Board. This report was made regarding the alleged leaking of corruption investigation documents at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
"I told anyone to go up to the 15th floor," Alexander told reporters at the ACLC KPK Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, April 11.
This invitation was conveyed to the former leader because Alexander wanted to explain the internal conditions. According to him, he wants to open a discussion room.
"Try to come here, I said that. Later I can explain why all of you are being questioned," he said.
