Receive President Xi Jinping's Visit, PM Mishustin: This Is The Uniqueness Of Russia-China Relations
JAKARTA - Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin praised the relations between Russia and China which are entering a new era, while receiving President Xi Jinping's visit at the Russian Government House, Tuesday.
Prime Minister Mishustin personally greeted President Xi. After a traditional handshake against the backdrop of the national flag and a group photo ceremony, the two rushed into the conversation.
"Welcome, President Xi Jinping, nice to meet you. Welcome to the Russian Government House," said PM Mishustin, launching TASS on March 21.
"First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your re-election as President of the People's Republic of China. I would also like to thank you for the great attention you pay to the development of friendship and partnership between Russia and China," added PM Mishustin.
On that occasion, PM Mishustin also stressed the importance of the fact that President Xi Jinping's first overseas visit after being re-elected was to Russia.
"This shows the uniqueness of Russia-China relations entering a new era," said PM Mishustin.
While citing The National News, President Xi Jinping said he had invited Vladimir Putin to visit China later this year.

"Yesterday, I invited President Putin to visit China this year, at the right time for him," President Xi said on the sidelines of a meeting with PM Mishustin.
President Xi described China and Russia as "great neighboring powers" and "strategic partners".
He added that Chinese Premier Li Qiang, who took office this month, would "continue to prioritize the overall strategic partnership between China and Russia".
